PLYRMATCH is delighted to name Mbemba Kouyate as our Player of the Month for September following an outstanding run of performances.
Mbemba has started the season in brilliant form, registering 11 goals and 3 assists from just 8 games.
But Player of the Month isn't simply about the numbers.
FROM THAILAND TO ENGLAND
Mbemba came to England from Thailand with the ambition of developing his game, challenging himself in a different football environment and making the most of the opportunities available to him.
As part of that journey, Mbemba attended the PLYRMATCH NXT LVL Combine, where he had the opportunity to train and compete alongside older and more experienced players.
Throughout the week, he was a credit to himself and his coaching staff.
He worked hard, embraced the environment and demonstrated a real willingness to learn and improve. Now he's turning that work into performances.
11 GOALS. 3 ASSISTS. 8 GAMES.
Mbemba's start to the season has been excellent.
His performances throughout September have demonstrated why continued development, regular competitive football and making the most of the right environment are so important for young players.
However, this is only the beginning. The challenge now is to continue working, developing and performing consistently throughout the season.
THE PLYRMATCH PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Our Player of the Month initiative has been created to recognise players within the PLYRMATCH network who are progressing and making the most of their opportunities.
It isn't simply about who scores the most goals. We want to recognise players who are:
- Performing consistently
- Breaking into new teams
- Stepping up levels
- Earning trials and opportunities
- Returning strongly from setbacks or injury
- Developing on and off the pitch
- Making genuine progress with their football
Players develop at different speeds and take different pathways.
What matters is that they continue moving forward.
CONGRATULATIONS, MBEMBA
A fantastic month and thoroughly deserved recognition for Mbemba.
Keep working. Keep developing. Keep pushing.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SEPTEMBER PLYRMATCH PLAYER OF THE MONTH
